February Case Files - Mid-Month Reveal | Deadline: March 4, 2022

As always, this month is flying by, and we're ready for our mid-month reveal! We just celebrated Valentine's Day in the United States, so our second Case File features a Valentine's theme, but as always, you can use our challenges to scrap any theme you'd like.

For this second reveal, we are sharing beautiful inspiration for our second February Case File. As always, both Case Files will stay open the entire month and until the 4th of the next month. We can't wait to see what you create!

This year, in addition to having sponsors donate prizes, CSI will be giving away a $20 (U.S. dollars) gift certificate to your favorite online craft store (must take Paypal) to one lucky player each month.

We'll also be inviting some players whose work catches our eye to serve as Guest Detectives.

We're excited to have CUT to YOU continue as a prime sponsor this year!
At CUT to YOU you’ll find unique digital cut files for all kinds of paper lovers. Our goal is to provide unique and versatile designs that inspire a world of makers and ignite their joy of creating. For use on all sorts of paper projects, including scrapbook pages, travellers notebooks, cards and more, with over 300 designs to choose from, we really do have a cut file for everyone.

CUT to YOU is all about helping you document your family in a fun and creative way. We create unique designs that do not overwhelm the page, that allow the photos to shine, AND that paper crafters of all levels can use, not just the Scrapbook elite. We believe that cut files should be accessible to everyone so all of our designs are available as Digital downloads as well as physical cut outs called Custom Cuts which can be shipped to you worldwide. In store, you will also find digital scrapbooking kits (KIT to YOU) which feature exclusive cut file designs and all the information you need to recreate the kit in the comfort of your own home, using supplies you already have.

Did you know that February is officially Spunky Old Broads Month? We thought it would be fun to celebrate this quirky holiday with our first Case File. And of course we couldn't forget Valentine's Day in February, so our second Case File is dedicated to that special holiday. As always, you don't have to scrap these topics. Draw your own inspiration from The Scene on the Case File, or you can use the traditional clues, which can be found at the bottom of this blog post.

The traditional CSI clues can be found on our Facebook page in the first entry under the album. Just click on the Case File images above. They are also posted at the bottom of this reveal.

To submit your layouts, click on the Case Files in our sidebar, which will bring you to the individual albums in our Facebook group.

And now, are you ready for some serious inspiration? Here's what our design team and Guest Detectives created with this month's second Case File.

Our Guest Detective from the CUT to YOU design team did a fantastic job solving the Case.

How Karen solved the Case: My share features the wonderful Leaf Sprig and the Rosey Posey file, it was absolutely a gorgeous fit to my photo and of course CSI Challenge No. 381. I initially drew inspiration from the photo prompt for the colour tones (pink) but the layout took a mind of it's own as I was creating and more and more colours hit the page. I have represented the tiers as all of the layers on the page.

The CSI design team masterfully cracked the Case. We'll share how we solved the Case on Facebook and Instagram.

Choose as many or as few as you are inspired to use! You don't have to use all of the categories of clues. use what inspires you, or challenge yourself to use as many clues as you can. Or just use the image to inspire you as you wish!

We trust we've provided enough clues for you to solve the Cases! You have until March 4, 2022, to solve both cases. We can't wait to see what you'll create! Upload your creations in our Facebook Group (album links in sidebar).
