July Scrapbooking Challenges - First Case File Reveal - Deadline: August 4

Attention, CSI Detectives! A brand-new case has landed on your desk, and it’s bursting with clues to uncover and inspiration to explore. Case File No. 458 kicks off our July challenges with a vibrant mix of colors and a joyful summer vibe that’s sure to get your creative gears turning.

Our first Scene is packed with evidence—bright citrus hues, playful patterns, and an uplifting message that reads “Keep Choosing Joy.” Will you follow the color trail, lift a design clue, or uncover a story hidden deep in your memories? The choice is yours.

To add a little twist to our investigation, we’ve drawn inspiration from some fun July celebrations—National Ice Cream Month and Carousel Day. But remember, detectives, you’re not limited to these themes. You can let The Scene lead the way or if you’re the kind of detective who loves working with solid leads, scroll down to find our traditional clues—your trusty checklist for cracking the case.

You have until August 4, 2025 to crack this case and submit your evidence. And be on the lookout—a second Case File will be revealed on July 15 to keep your investigative skills sharp. Now grab your stash and let’s solve this case!

GUEST DETECTIVE SPOTS

Our Detective Squad is always hot on the trail of standout scrappers! If your layout leaves us awestruck, you just might get deputized as a Guest Detective. We’ll be combing through the case files on the 4th of each month, so make sure your evidence—er, layout—is filed in the album by then. And don’t worry—our cold cases are always open, so feel free to revisit old clues whenever inspiration strikes. Crack enough crafty cases and leave a trail of wow-worthy work… and you could find yourself recruited to our elite Design Team Task Force!

CASE FILES

We love having fun with our Case File themes, and July gives us plenty to celebrate—like National Ice Cream Month and Carousel Day! But remember, you don’t have to follow the theme to crack the case. Let The Scene spark your own story, or use the traditional clues to guide your investigation—you’ll find them at the bottom of this post. However you choose to play, we can’t wait to see where the evidence leads you!
