Our Design Team - Current and Retired

From the moment CSI opened its first Case File, we’ve assembled an elite team of Detectives—scrapbookers whose skills, imagination, and attention to detail are second to none. Hailing from every corner of the globe, our team’s mission is clear: to uncover inspiration, crack creative challenges, and help you piece together your own artistic stories.

Here’s a little bit about our Detectives, in their own words. Visit their blogs, Instagram pages, and YouTube channels for a closer look at their brilliant work and endless inspiration.

Hi, I’m Antonia and I live in the UK with my family. I’m an occupational therapist by day, avid scrapbooker by night, and nature wanderer on the weekends. I started scrapbooking about twelve years ago, wanting to capture and record the special moments in my children’s lives as they grow up. It has since become a passion and a form of therapy – it keeps me sane when life gets a bit crazy! I am a traditional patterned paper sort of girl at heart and enjoy creating single- and double-page layouts and journal pages.

You can find me on my blog, on my YouTube channel, and on my Instagram account.

My name is Carina and I am from Sweden. I live in a little village outside the town of Jönköping with my hubby, our two dogs, and our cat. We also have two grown-up kids aged 24 (son) and 22 (daughter), but they have moved out. I work full-time as a math and science teacher with kids aged 10–12.

I mainly scrap digitally, but I also do a lot in paper. When I paper scrap I do pocket scrapbooking and some layouts. I also love to dabble with mixed media, art journaling, and sewing clothes. I've been scrapbooking since 2006 when I was looking for something fun to do with all my photos and found scrapbooking on the internet.

I've been a creative person as long as I can remember, which means I’ve dipped my toes into all kinds of things—drawing, painting (both watercolor and acrylics), photography, and knitting. I also love to bake and cook!

I am a big fan of Star Wars, Coldplay, and Metallica. I also love tea, coffee, and chocolate. In my spare time, I like to be active. I enjoy running and mountain biking.

Hi, I'm Kathy aka Scrappy Kathy and I've been scrapping for almost 14 years. I love colorful, busy chaotic pages that reflect all the noisy joy that comes with living in the same house as my son and grandkids. And a crazy dog who thinks she runs the place. I look forward to seeing where these investigations take my creativity. You can see more of my work on my Instagram.

Hi friends! I'm Keely Lowe and I have been paper crafting for about 25 years. When my youngest son was born I saw a scrapbooking kit on QVC, ordered it, and I've been going strong ever since. My week isn't complete unless I spend time in my craft room getting messy. I also love to create home decor items and have ventured into some card making this year. I love giving handmade gifts. I live in Central Kentucky with my wonderful husband and I love scrapbooking my kiddos and my grandson, Hayes. You can see more of my paper crafting on Instagram at Keely Lowe Designs.

I'm Kirei and I live with my husband just north of London in the UK though I grew up in Australia. I took early retirement after working for The Disney Store Europe in Store Operations for 23 years. I am now in partnership with a friend running GoGo Getaway weekend scrapbook retreats which keeps me busy! I also teach classes and am on the Bramble Fox design team. I love a scrapbook challenge to kick start a layout and am a fan of layers, dimension and distressed edges! My IG is @kirei65 xx

Hi, y’all!!! I am super excited to be here! Just a little about myself: I’m 49 I've been married for 27 years this coming October. No children, just two rotten fur babies. I’ve been scrapping in some form or fashion since 1993. I met Debbi through Paper Issues. My IG is @kikiscrapsalot I can’t wait to get started!

Hi Y’all, I’m Lacey, a mom of two wonderful kids. Lynndsie is 19 and Channing is 10. A wife to Derrick and a dog mom to Lady and Lilo. I love EVERYTHING Disney. I’m originally from Florida and moved to the boot (that’s Louisiana) in my teens. I’m a professional photographer in my day to day and enjoy capturing memories for others. Scrapbooking is my passion and I enjoy creating with paper, it soothes my soul. I have been creating for almost 20 years! I’ve been blessed to work in several local scrapbook stores teaching what I love as well as be on a handful of amazing creative design teams. I like clean and simple scrapbooking and will often be caught using a solid white cardstock as the starting point of my creation. I love using mixed media on my pages and reliving all the everyday memories as I lock them down on paper.

Here's a bit about Lillian, in her own words: I have three children (24, 21, and 16) and a husband. My family lives on an island on the west coast of Norway. I am an engineer and work at a yard where we build oil-platforms. We are a busy family, so it is sometimes hard to find time to scrapbook. Therefore I really appreciate the time I get to just enter the scrapbooking world. I most like to scrap layouts, and I love CSI and its concept. I scrap new and old pictures, mostly of my kids, and I like to tell the stories as well. I do not have a particular style, but like to try things I see and get inspired by, and I like to start with a sketch, and make it my own way, as I play along .

A good friend introduced me to scrapbooking in 2007 and I was hooked within minutes. I have, literally, thousands of digital photographs, so this was a great way for me to not only document my life and memories - but also have a passion for doing so.

I like to think that my scrapbooking has evolved in leaps and bounds since those first few LO's I have made, and I know that I will continue to grow as a scrapper. There is always so much to learn and so many new exciting products and techniques! I'm absolutely thrilled to be on the CSI team - since submitting my first LO in the challenge over 10 years ago, it has been my dream to be on this team!

I became hooked on scrapping 20 years ago after making my first layout. I am just as passionate today as when I started, although my style has changed over the years! I love nothing more than connecting with other scrappers and encouraging people to join in with our amazing hobby. I started Bramble Fox in 2017 designing and making laser cut embellishments and tools for avid scrappers all over the world. I am so happy about joining CSI – I relish the new challenge and ideas that it will bring.

Hi! I´m Nina!

I´m married to John and mother of two teenagers whom you may already know;-)

Ten years ago I had to give up teaching due to being diagnosed with Lupus. That led to seven years at home, giving me the opportunity to spend all my energy on my children. Three years ago I went back to work, but now part time as a secretary in a law firm. The rest of the day I drive my family to different activities like ballet classes, flute lessons, handball practice, school band practice, saxophone lessons, concerts, games, competitions... So how do I get time to scrap?! Well, I have a husband that loves to cook, and he is responsible for dinner every day. That means I have an hour or so to relax in my scrap room while he enjoys cooking:-)

In the beginning I only scrapped cards. There was always a need for a birthday card, and I loved to make them special and personal. Just imagine. Both my children had between 20 and 30 pupils in their classes, and as a school rule you invited all of them, or just the boys or the girls. That's a lot of cards to make! Now I create most layouts inspired by CSI case files and the gorgeous work from the design team in the reveal.

I am not sure if I have a particular style, although my friends say they could easily recognize my work. I would like to try new techniques, and I want to learn more about mixed media. I sometimes try to make exciting backgrounds with paint and paste and stencils, but have not been successful so far. It turns out to be more messed media than mixed media:-)

Thank you for having me on the team. I am so excited to get started, and hope that I can encourage new members to keep playing in CSI. The friendly comments I got on my layouts made all the difference for me as a beginner.

My name is Paula Davis and I live in Leicester, England. I am Wife, Mum & Grandma. Retired from working in accounts for 45 years mainly in the Insurance industry. I have been scrapbooking for over 20 years and love making memories for the future generations to enjoy. You can see my work on my instagram page pd1505.

I’m thrilled to have been invited to join the CSI Design Team! I live in Yellowknife, NWT, Canada—known as the Aurora Capital of the World—and I look forward to sharing and inspiring you with stories and memories from life “North of 60.” I began scrapbooking more than 20 years ago after a trip to Disneyland, and while my style has evolved over time, I still love incorporating memorabilia into my travel layouts. I’m always collecting little keepsakes and often up-cycle items like clothing tags, brochures, and event programs to bring an extra personal touch to my pages. You can see more of my work on my Instagram: travelling_with_gonefishing.

Hi! I'm Rhonda and I've been married to the love of my life for 35 years. We have 5 boys and 5 grandchildren. We also have 6 dogs and a cat. The kids use to joke that every time a kid moved out I got another dog, lol. But now the pets outnumber the kids so I'm not sure their theory holds up.
I've been scrapbooking since 2003 when a friend showed me her scrapbooks. I was hooked immediately and I've never looked back. I love every aspect of scrapbooking but since I discovered mixed media I do tend to lean toward that type of scrapping. However, I don't have a particular style and I'm constantly trying different things. I can't ever imagine myself not scrapbooking. I'm excited to step out of my comfort zone and get to work solving these cases with everyone!

Hi my name is Sheena Rowlands & I live in the UK with my husband. I'm a mum to 3 grown up children and a part time RN. I’ve also recorded our lives using Project Life for 10 years now, which gives me the freedom to scrapbook my children, our travels & our new Grand pup. Hi everyone! It’s Wendy Meffan here and I’m so excited to be joining this amazing team of designers at CSI and can’t wait to start solving the case files. Here is a little more info about me … I have been scrapbooking for about 14 years and enjoy documenting our family life. I have become far more adventurous in my scrapping and I particularly enjoy mixed media now which used to be a pet hate of mine in the early days! I realise I have also become a total hoarder of all things scrappy and can’t pack light when going to scrap away from the house! I live in the UK near London and am married with three grown up children. I am a Physiotherapist and run a practice from our home. I love spending time with my family, playing tennis and travelling when it’s possible. Xx

You can see Wendy's beautiful work on her Instagram.

Hello, everyone! My name is Wendy, and I live in a small town in western Michigan. I’ve been married to my husband, Jon, for over 25 years, and we have two daughters, Paige (20) and Erin (18). This fall I’ll be experiencing an empty nest for the first time, so I’m working to fill that void with lots of creating! I’m also a third grade teacher, and we do have a beloved dog named Maxwell, so I plan to stay very busy.

My scrapping journey began in 2005 with a blank spiral notebook, a bunch of zoo pictures, some animal stickers, and colorful markers to make a memory book for my daughter, and I was hooked! Today I scrap 12x12 exclusively, and I’ve added just a few more materials to my stash. I’m thrilled to be joining the CSI team, and I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead! For more of my work, my IG is @wrasbach58 I wish you all happy creating!
