CASE FILES
It's back to school, even if our classrooms, like mine, will be virtual, so we're celebrating school and books and learning with our Case Files, but you don't have to scrap those topics. Draw your own inspiration from The Scene on the Case File, or you can use the traditional clues, which can be found at the bottom of this blog post.

INSPIRATION
And now, are you ready for some serious inspiration? Here's what our design team and guest designers created with Case File No. 331.
Marie-France Boulay
How Marie-France solved the Case: I found the illustration very inspiring : stars, colors, pile of books.
I used a big tittle with tinny labels of cute sentences stack in a vertical shape.
Like a little star, I used this cute little face for my layout.
Rebecca Birch
How Rebecca solved the Case: Case file 331 made me think of books and how magical they are. It reminded me of this photo of my little boy on the day he joined the library.
Shannon Colburn-Blinn
How Shannon solved the Case: I was inspired by the color scheme, solid background, stacked elements (cluster right of my picture) and the stars hanging at the top.
The CSI design team masterfully cracked the Case. We'll share how they solved the Case on Facebook.
And here is inspiration for our stash-busting Cold-Case File.
And our Special Investigators...
Rebecca Birch
How Rebecca solved the Case: All the little trinkets and curios on the shelves in case file 332 really reminded me of a photograph I had taken of the evidence room at Hardwick Hall, where precious items and documents were stored. I loved the idea of creating 3 ‘shelves’ full of little trinkets, so I used ephemera and stickers to mimic the shelves from the image and used my sewing machine to add stitching. I loved the muted earthy colours, & it inspired me to use the Soulmate collection by Piatek, which was also worked perfect for this page because of its quirky little images.

How Shannon solved the Case: I was inspired by the greenery. Color scheme. Stacks (layered paper behind my photo) and books (used notebook paper as my background)
The CSI design team masterfully crac
ked the Case. We'll share how they solved the Case on Facebook.
