Hello! I'm Anastasia from Moscow, Russia.
I love to travel and that's how I discovered srapbooking. Several years ago when I returned from a trip I wanted to keep my memories and the paper junk I brought home (now I use a fancy word "memorabilia" for all this stuff). I googled something like "travel albums" - and that was it, I was hooked immediately.
I love pretty papers and everything that goes with it. My pages are smaller in size (6x8 or 8x8) and have more or less clean look, though sometimes I like to play with paints. One of the best things about this hobby is that we can make things in any style you want, our only limit is our imagination, right?:)

My name is Carina and I am from Sweden. I live in a little village outside the town Jönköping, with my hubby, our two dogs and our cat. We also have two grown-up kids aged 24 (son) and 22 (daughter), but they have moved out. I work full-time as a math and science teacher with kids aged 10-12.

I mainly scrap digitally, but I also do a lot in paper. When I paper scrap I do pocket scrapbooking and some layouts. I also love to dabble with mixed media/art journaling and sewing clothes. I've been scrapbooking since 2006 when I was looking for something fun to do with all my photos and found scrapbooking on the Internet.

I've been a creative person as long as I can remember which means I´ve been dipping my toes in all kinds of things - drawing, painting (both watercolor and acrylics), photography, knitting.... I also love to bake and cook!

I am a big fan of Star Wars, Coldplay and Metallica. I also love tea, coffee and chocolate

In my spare time I like to be active. I like to run and go biking on my mountainbike.

I am so looking forward to be creating for CSI!

Hello there fellow crafters, my name is Debbi McCue and I live in a small town on Prince Edward Island, Canada, the home of Anne of Green Gables! I have been papercrafting since 2005. It began as a way to preserve my own heritage stories but shortly into this meaningful endeavour, I discovered that magical world of creativity and a new found desire to explore this fantastical place.

I have three grown children who live in three different countries and five wonderful grandchildren, who feature in many of my layouts. I consider it a privilege to be a part of CSI and this team. I sincerely hope that in some small way I can be an inspiration to others as so many have been for me. Thanks!

Hi, CSI Fans! I'm Debbi Tehrani, the owner and founder of CSI. I live in Frederick, Maryland, with Farzad, my husband of 39 years. We have no children, but we have two cats and a bearded dragon. The beardie accompanies me to school, where I teach fourth grade.
I've been scrapping since about 2000. I scrap 8 x 8, which is why you will see only one photo on most of my layouts. I love telling stories on my pages and using elements that will help to tell my stories. For me, scrapbooking is a creative outlet and a way to capture and celebrate all the random little things that make my life special and meaningful. Recently, I've started making pages as gifts for other people, and I just love doing that!
The internet has transformed my hobby from a solitary passion to one that I can share with friends I have made all over the world. I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to create this challenge and to be working alongside so many talented people. I am looking forward to forging new friendships and being inspired by all the members of the CSI community!

Hello, Bonjour.

My name is Jacynthe Loubier. I live with my husband, our dog Félix, our cat Maxime, and an array of barnyard animals on a small hobby farm just outside of beautiful Sussex, NB Canada.

We have two grown daughters with families of their own.

I’ve been scrapbooking for many years. It’s a secret obsession that I only share with my on-line friends. My scrapbooking style is fairly old-fashioned. I love all things mixed media but cannot seem to master it myself. I prefer dark colours with a cream undertone. I love pattern paper and flowers. They find their way on every one of my pages. Journaling is an important part of my layouts. Thank you Debbi, for letting me be part of this wonderful group of talented ladies.

Hello! My name is Julie Taylor & I hail from the Midlands in England. I live with my husband, 2 grown up daughters & many rescued fur babies ( 2 dogs, 2 rabbits & a tortoise).

I have always done some sort of crafting, for as long as I can remember, & fell upon scrapbooking in 2008 after going to a card making class. It’s now my passion & something I do on a daily basis, thinking, planning & making pages.

I’ve been lucky enough to be on a few design teams & even tried my hand at teaching, something I’d never thought I’d do!!! I mainly create 12x12 layouts & love the look of mixed media to create a unique background before adding ephemera, in abundance, on my pages.

Hello, my name is Laura Mooney.  I live, with my husband, in Eugene, Oregon.  We have been married for 26 years and have two children, a son and a daughter.  Our daughter has been married for a year and a half and our son will soon be married as well!  My husband and I love to go hiking and he recently got me back on a bike!  I love to scrap our adventures and, living in such a beautiful part of the world, I have a lot of material.
I started stamping and card making in the early 90s.  I resisted scrapbooking for a few years.  I just didn't like the white background page with shaped photos and stickers.  Then I realized that I could create my own backgrounds and off I went.  I really became serious when I got my first digital camera during my son's Freshman year of high school.  He was very involved with band and I had a ton of stories to scrap!
Since joining CSI, I have moved from an event scrapper to spreading my wings with a more artistic style and I am loving it!  Finding my artsy side has been so much fun!  I am really looking forward to growing along side all of you and telling some great stories.

Hello everyone, I'm Libeeti Frenkel from Israel. I'm a single mom of two teenager boys, a working woman in a full time job, and an addicted crafter.

I love making scrapbook layouts, mini (or not so mini) albums, altered art, DIY projects, etc.

CSI has been a long time love of mine. I love the TON of inspiration on this site - the case files as well as the awesome layouts by the talented Detectives.

CSI always challenge me and stretch my creativity, and I'm thrilled to re-join the team.

Hello! My name is Lisa Moen. My husband Greg and I have 2 children- Sierra, 20 and Austin, 19. Both are attending college in the fall, so I will have lots of free time on my hands. We live in central Wisconsin. I work as the Food Service Director at the school here. I enjoy most of the summer off! Besides scrapping, I enjoy camping, gardening and reading.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here at CSI!

Lisa-Marie Watling

A good friend introduced me to scrapbooking in 2007 and I was hooked within minutes.  I have, literally, thousands of digital photographs, so this was a great way for me to not only document my life and memories - but also have a passion for doing so.

I like to think that my scrapbooking has evolved in leaps and bounds since those first few LO's I have made, and I know that I will continue to grow as a scrapper.  There is always so much to learn and so many new exciting products and techniques!  I'm absolutely thrilled to be on the CSI team - since submitting my first LO in the challenge over 2 years ago, it has been my dream to be on this team!

Lynette Jacobs

My name is Lynette Jacobs and I live on the coast of South Africa. I have been married to my soulmate, Kobus, for 40 years and we have 3 children and 6 (soon 8) grandchildren. We have been in full time ministry to the homeless and addicted for the past 20 years. Scrapbooking is much needed therapy and escape from the heartbreak and brokenness that we deal with on a daily basis. I started scrapbooking in 2004 and it was an instant love affair.

My name is Melissa and I'm so excited to be Special Investigator for CSI. I live in Queenstown, New Zealand with my husband and our 4 children. I'm a Town Planning Consultant and as well as scrapbooking I mountain bike, snowboard and train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I've been scrapbooking for well over 11 years and I love creating traditional 12 x 12 layouts to record our everyday memories. I also make mini albums and travellers notebooks. The international scrapbooking community is wonderful, and I've made so many friends from this awesome hobby! I love the challenges at CSI, thank you so much for having me!

Hi, I'm Michelle and I hail from the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. I live in Christchurch, which was a very English city until we had an earthquake in 2011 (and around 20,000 of them since then!) and is now being rebuilt better than ever, although very slowly.

I started Scrapbooking just after I had my second daughter back in 2001. Her and her sister have grown up with cameras in their faces, and were usually happy to oblige but now sometimes I have to resort to bribery to get photos...

I've had a love of art and craft since I was young, I can even remember having a scrapbook in the seventies :-D When I left school, it manifested as knitting, then ceramics, which I taught, and now that I get to throw paint and inks at my layouts I couldn't be happier. I love this hobby! Especially combining inks with cut files.

Hi everyone! I'm Natsuko from Japan. I have been scrapping for 10 years now, and my love for it seems to grow stronger every year. Scrapbooking not only makes me happy but it's also a stress reliever. My daughter is the main model in most of my layouts, and I want to reserve the moments (special or not!) so she can remember them after she grows up.

I love looking at other people's layouts too, imagining what kind of story is hidden there. Colorful is my style, and I love fussy cutting, stitching and adding a little bit of mixed media. I don't want to limit myself though, so I'm not hesitant to try new techniques, and I'm always looking for new inspiration.

I also love travelling, taking pictures and meeting people (especially scrappers!!) from all over the world. It's such an honor to be on this awesome team, with all the other super-talented Detectives!!

Hi! I´m Nina!
I´m married to John and mother of two teenagers whom you may already know;-)
Ten years ago I had to give up teaching due to being diagnosed with Lupus. That led to seven years at home, giving me the opportunity to spend all my energy on my children. Three years ago I went back to work, but now part time as a secretary in a law firm. The rest of the day I drive my family to different activities like ballet classes, flute lessons, handball practice, school band practice, saxophone lessons, concerts, games, competitions... So how do I get time to scrap?! Well, I have a husband that loves to cook, and he is responsible for dinner every day. That means I have an hour or so to relax in my scrap room while he enjoys cooking:-)
In the beginning I only scrapped cards. There was always a need for a birthday card, and I loved to make them special and personal. Just imagine. Both my children had between 20 and 30 pupils in their classes, and as a school rule you invited all of them, or just the boys or the girls. That's a lot of cards to make! Now I create most layouts inspired by CSI case files and the gorgeous work from the design team in the reveal.
I am not sure if I have a particular style, although my friends say they could easily recognize my work. I would like to try new techniques, and I want to learn more about mixed media. I sometimes try to make exciting backgrounds with paint and paste and stencils, but have not been successful so far. It turns out to be more messed media than mixed media:-)
Thank you for having me on the team. I am so excited to get started, and hope that I can encourage new members to keep playing in CSI. The friendly comments I got on my layouts made all the difference for me as a beginner.
Hello! I’m Rebecca and I live in Essex,U.K. with my husband little boy. I’ve recently returned to my old profession of healthcare after working as a wedding makeup artist for several years, & I’m really enjoying being back! I’ve always had a crafty hobby of one kind or another, but only got into scrapbooking properly at the beginning of 2019, & I am completely & utterly hooked! I love to use mixed media, cutfiles, sketches, scraplifts and mood boards & struggle not to sew on every page I make! My Instagram account is @scrap_paper_uk

Hey, I am Sadia, I live in the sunny Sardinia (in Italy) with my hubby and my 2 lovely kids. I am the mom of twins, which gives me a lot of inspiration and pictures to scrap, and which makes almost all of my time busy. That means I scrap at night when everybody is sleeping and my home gets finally quiet and silent. I love sports, staying outside, I love the sea and the beach (and here we really have an amazing sea), I am a bit overactive… my life is colorful, sporty, full of love, happy and very busy, as you can imagine having 2 kids of 6 years at home (I am the driver, the chef, the boss, the home teacher, sometimes the sport coach, the confident, the problem solver and the director!!! ).

But besides being a mom, I also am a crafter since I was a little baby, I love everything that is creative and crafty, and I met scrapbooking in 2008, when a very dear friend introduced me to this amazing, magic world!!! Since then I never left it! I love stamps and colors, and I am a very curious person who loves to try and to experiment always new things! I love scrapping and use it to tell about my life, my kids and my family and my emotions… I love layouts, and mini albums, but also cards and whatever is made with stamps and colors! And it is my way to escape heavy thoughts and take refuge when I need to find myself!!!

I wouldn’t know how to define my style (if I do have one), but I can say I love bright color, sharp contrast, little details and I like to let my emotions get out and find their place on my projects: I would say I scrap with the heart more than with the head! I am so totally happy and excited to be on this team, made of talented lovely girls, and I am so much looking forward to start this new adventure with all of you!!!!

My Name is Tracee and I live in Bristol, UK, with my DH, our 2 youngest children, and our very spoiled doggies.

I have always crafted in one form or another since I was a small child, from stuffed toys to knitted scarves. I was introduced to scrapping in 2004, and I have never looked back, with each layout bringing more love for this hobby, along with a whole group of friends who share the same love.
My family and dogs are the main focus of my work. I just love how you can turn a memory, that might otherwise be forgotten in time, into something very special indeed.
Really I'm quite a sensitive soul with a small amount of crazy thrown in. Right now I am loving my scrappy journey and all the fun friendship and memories it brings everyday. With an ever changing world scrapping remains my Safe Haven and most days you will find me at some point in my craft room.

Hi! I'm Vivian and I live in Shallow Lake, Ontario Canada. I've been married to my high school sweetheart Richard for almost 23 years. Together we have three beautiful children, ages 20, 19 & 14. I have recently changed careers and currently, I am working in a local doctors office.

I started scrapbooking when my parents were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary and I wanted to make an unique gift for them. I really loved the creative process and I haven't quit since!! Recently, I've discovered mixed media and I'm enjoying incorporating it into my art.

I've been playing along here at CSI since Case #1. I love the way Debbi challenges us to tell our stories, and my art has changed to be more like art therapy. When I'm not scrapbooking, you can find me in my kitchen cooking up a storm, curled up on my couch reading a book, or in the dojo studying Goju Ryu karate.

My name is Yvette Weber, I live in the United States with my amazing husband of thirty three years, one awesome son (14) and a dog name Titan! I was born and grew up in Grenada in the Caribbean, move to the States when I was 15 with my family. I started scrapbooking in 2013 to document our family memories, after my Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

When not scrapbooking you can find me cooking, baking, decorating my home and sometime reading a great book. I love to incorporate layers of colorful patterned paper, clusters of embellishments and cut files on my pages!

I'm super excited to be joining the CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration design team and looking forward to sharing my work with you and hopefully inspiring you to create beautiful layouts!!!

  1. I really miss you guys... trying so hard to come back.. maybe 2017 will be my year <3 fabulous girls and a stunning new home.

    1. Miss you too, Val! We've got a DT call running now! xoxo

  2. I wish there was a CSI youtube channel! There is so much inspiration here and I would to be able to watch some of the detectives in action! I saw a few videos but it would be nice if they were on one channel to be easier to access.

    1. I will look into this as a possibility for 2021. Thanks for your feedback!
