April is in full bloom, Detectives, and that means it’s time for our Mid‑Month Reveal. Earlier this month, we opened Case File No. 474, and today we’re excited to unveil Case File No. 475 — and remember, both April Case Files will remain open for the entire month, giving you plenty of time to play along, explore the clues, and let your creativity wander.
This one is a beauty — a dreamy, jellyfish‑meets‑spring‑garden scene filled with translucent textures, soft pastels, bold magentas, and playful organic shapes. Whether you’re inspired by the color palette, the movement, the florals, or the sense of renewal, there’s so much here to spark a story.
Our Detective Squad is always hot on the trail of standout scrappers! If your layout leaves us awestruck, you just might get deputized as a Guest Detective. We’ll be combing through the case files on the 4th of each month, so make sure your evidence—er, layout—is filed in the album by then. And don’t worry—our cold cases are always open, so feel free to revisit old clues whenever inspiration strikes. Crack enough crafty cases and leave a trail of wow-worthy work… and you could find yourself recruited to our elite Design Team Task Force!
At CSI, we love giving our Case Files a playful twist, and this month’s investigations are brimming with fresh, seasonal inspiration—perfect for capturing both the beauty of everyday moments and the energy of springtime creativity.
Case File No. 474 – There’s something undeniably comforting about a thoughtfully styled space—layers of meaningful objects, a mix of textures, and little details that tell a story without saying a word.
This Scene invites you into a cozy, curated world filled with warm neutrals, soft greens, and gentle pops of orange. Think homey, inviting, and full of charm—like a snapshot of everyday life, lovingly arranged. Whether you’re inspired by the layered design, the natural elements, or the sense of comfort, this Case File is all about storytelling through details.
Case File No. 475 – If Case File 474 is about quiet charm, Case File 475 bursts onto the scene with bold color and playful contrast.
Bright pinks, teals, leafy greens, and pops of coral come together in a vibrant, eye-catching palette. The mix of florals, patterns, and graphic elements creates a lively, almost collage-like feel—perfect for telling stories full of joy, energy, and personality. It’s a celebration of color, creativity, and seeing beauty in unexpected combinations.
And remember—you’re never limited to the theme itself. Let the Scenes spark your imagination, or follow the traditional clues at the bottom of this post to guide your investigation. However you interpret the evidence, we can’t wait to see how you solve the Case!
Looking for the traditional CSI clues? You’ll find them at the bottom of this post and on our Facebook page—just head to the first entry under the Case File album (click the Case File images above to go straight there).

Investigators, are you ready to crack the case? Let’s revisit the second Case File on our April investigation board… This month’s Scene is a soft, luminous blend of spring botanicals, translucent textures, and artistic play — jellyfish tendrils, paint drips, figs, florals, and a palette that shifts from teal to magenta to gentle spring green. It’s the kind of image that invites you to breathe a little deeper and follow whatever detail catches your eye.
Maybe it’s the movement, the color story, the organic shapes, or the sense of renewal woven through the imagery. Use the Scene as your prime suspect, or follow the traditional clues at the end of this post to guide your investigation. However you approach it, we can’t wait to see how you solve this one.
Our Detectives took Case File No. 475 in every direction imaginable — soft, botanical, artistic, unexpected — and the results are such a joy to share. You’ll see layouts that lean into the dreamy spring palette, pages that play with translucence and flowing movement, and others that spotlight bold color and crisp storytelling.
And in true CSI fashion, someone even spun this spring‑washed Scene into a wintry skiing layout, proving once again that inspiration doesn’t have to match the season — it just has to spark a story.
From delicate florals to mixed‑media splashes, from clean grids to layered clusters, each layout brings its own interpretation of the clues. Scroll through and let their creativity nudge your own investigation forward.
💡 NEED HELP GETTING STARTED?
If you’re staring at this dreamy Scene and not sure where to begin, here are a few quick sparks to get your creativity flowing:
Pull out teals, pinks, spring greens, and soft salmon from your stash
Play with translucent layers inspired by the jellyfish and watery textures
Add paint drips, splatters, or brushstrokes to echo the artistic vibe
Create movement with flowing shapes, curves, or tendrils
Use botanical elements — florals, leaves, succulents, or anything springy
Try a grid or framed composition to mirror the structured parts of the Scene
Let the imagery inspire a story about renewal, growth, or fresh starts
Or… follow your instincts and let one tiny detail lead the whole page
Investigators, the clues are waiting — tucked into color, movement, texture, and the tiny details that shimmer when you look twice. Follow whatever pulls at you first: the soft drift of translucent layers, the bright pop of spring color, the quiet rhythm of organic shapes, or the unexpected story only you can see.
Let the Scene guide your hand. Let the details nudge your imagination. Gather what speaks to you, layer your evidence, and follow the thread of your own story.
The case is open. The inspiration is waiting. Are you ready to solve it?

We’re confident this second April Case File holds everything you need to bring your stories to life. Both Case Files stay open all month, and you have until May 4 to submit your layouts if you’re aiming for the Guest Detective spotlight.
We can’t wait to see how you interpret the evidence, whether you follow the soft drift of spring color, the translucent textures, the flowing shapes, or the unexpected story only you can tell.
When your case is complete, share your layout in our Facebook Group — the albums are open and ready for your reports.
The colors are glowing, the inspiration is drifting, and April’s Cases are officially open.
Let the crafting — and the investigating — begin.
