April Case Files - First Reveal - Deadline: April 30, 2019

Happy April! At CSI a new month brings all kinds of excitement! Besides our three new Case Files, we've got new sponsors and new guest designers.

We're thrilled with the response to the changes we made this year (in case you missed them, you can read about them here)! New this year, we'll be sharing all three of the Case Files at the beginning of the month so that you'll have the entire month to play. On the 15th, we'll be sharing inspiration from the design team and guest designers for our second Case File. Somewhere in between, we'll be posting our Cold Case File, a new stash-busting challenge for this year.

SPONSORS

This month, we have nine generous sponsors. Click here to read more about our sponsors and the prizes they are donating. Winners will be selected randomly from all of our players, with a few exceptions where sponsors have asked us to choose from certain geographic regions.

CASE FILES

We present our April Case Files. Traditional clues can be found at the bottom of this blog post.

Case File No. 278 celebrates National Robotics Week with this intriguing scene we found when we typed in robotics in pinterest. You must check out the amazing moving image Eduardo Fuentes created.

The sweet, lovely Scene from Case File No. 279 was chosen for our mid-month Case File because April 14 is Keep a Poem in Your Pocket Day, and, well, a good poem is like sunshine to the soul. Marnie Maurri is the artist of this adorable illustration.

The Scene from our whimsical April Cold Case is by Marie Desbons.

The traditional CSI clues can be found on our Facebook page in the first entry under the album. Just click on the Case File images above. They are also posted at the bottom of this reveal.

To submit your layouts, click on the Case Files above, which will bring you to the individual albums in our Facebook group.

GUEST DESIGNERS

We are so honored to have the Scrapmatts and Cocoa Vanilla design teams serving as Guest Detectives this month! You are sure to be inspired by their work! Cocoa Vanilla's design team's work will appear in our mid-month reveal.

INSPIRATION

And now, are you ready for some serious inspiration? Here's what our design team and guest designers created with Case File No. 278. We will share their creations for Case File No. 279 on the 15th, and the Cold Case reveal will happen somewhere in between.

The fabulous Tania Ridgwell from Scrapmatts expertly solved the Case File:

Tania's blog

How Tania solved the Case: I was inspired by the colours (loved the colour palette) and I used Circle Patterns, circles, buttons and I dripped some assorted sprays on my page.

And the CSI design team masterfully cracked the Case. We'll share how they solved the Case on Facebook.

  1. Just a quick question about the case file 279. When I scroll to the bottom of this page, the case file says we can use a prompt, but when I click on it I only get the photo, not a link to the prompt(s). Is there somewhere I can find the actual link or website for the prompt for case file 279? Thanks!
