How Wendy solved the Case: Inspired by all those little frames! I chose paper to match the scheme and cut strips then squares and just had fun randomly placing them ! No measuring, just a few straight lines marked on the cardstock !!
How Edith solved the Case: I was inspired by Christmas for sure! Also dots, tags, snowflakes and buttons!
How Lisa solved the Case: I was inspired by the colors and the calendar theme. For evidence, I used dots, a grid pattern, Christmas/holiday elements, numbers and animals. I documented something about the holidays for my testimony.
How Jess solved the Case: I was so excited about this challenge as I just love everything about Christmas! I have have used all of the colour palette except bright olivey green, which I didnt have in my stash so I swapped it for a traditional green. I incorporated as much as I coulod from the evidence list and ended up adding: Dits, grid pattern, Christmas elements, numbers, stars, animals, snowflakes, bow and string.
How Lisa-Marie solved the Case: On my layout, I have added various Christmas elements, inspired by the image - Christmas Tree, Star and Pointsettia's. I also added some striped and dotted paper; as well as some number stamped on the background. I used pink, turquoise, white, crimson and green. My journalling contains the IW - Advent. It tells the story of how I had just made this Advent calendar for my daughter and also how this was our first year with Elf visiting us. She was very excited to have him stay - only to be a little ticked off that he stole one of her chocolates!
How Natsuko solved the Case: I loved advent calendars when I was a child, and this case file brought back many fun memories of my own childhood:) I chose Grid pattern, Christmas elements, Numbers, Animals and Winter elements from the Evidence.
How Debbi solved the Case: The pinks and turquoise made me think of Crate Paper's Snow and Cocoa collection, and I found this adorable photo of my friend and her daughter in the snow wearing pink, so that was my starting point. From there, I incorporated lots of the Evidence clues, dots, plaid, tags, stars, animals, winter elements, buttons, hearts, a banner, a bow, and string.
How Annie solved the Case: Loved the happy colours in this Case File, took inspiration from all the squares in the image but created lots of frames instead of a grid. Used dots, numbers, stars, hearts, and wrote a numbered list as my journaling.
How Carina solved the Case: I was really inspired by the grid design, the colors and all the cute critters. I decided to make a Christmas layout with my dogs and all the pics except one is taken on Christmas Eve 2017.
How Laura solved the Case: I went with the grid design, stars, snowflakes, tags, Christmas. Journaling is grandson's first Christmas, in captions form.
How Kim solved the Case: I followed the colors and the clues. I used snowflakes/winter elements and Christmas/Holiday elements. I also cut up a silver star. I loved this palette.
