CASE FILES
September is Back to School time and also National Music Month, so we're celebrating these things in our September Case Files. Our Cold Case File was chosen because September is the month of my birthday! Draw your own inspiration from The Scene or you can use the traditional clues, which can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
The traditional CSI clues can be found on our Facebook page in the first entry under the album. Just click on the Case File images above. They are also posted at the bottom of this reveal.
To submit your layouts, click on the Case Files above or in our sidebar, which will bring you to the individual albums in our Facebook group.
GUEST DESIGNERS
We are delighted to have Cynthia Baldwin as our Guest Detective this month. Cynthia is a loyal player, and her work always catches our eye when she shares her layouts for our Case Files, and we love how journaling is always a focus on her pages. She is frequently on our Most Wanted list.
Here's a little about Cynthia, in her own words: Hi, I’m Cynthia Baldwin. I live in Cypress, Texas (northwest Houston) with my husband of 24+ years, John. I have two kids, Nick and Aly - Nick is an engineering student starting his junior year of college, and Aly is a high school senior. Since I’m almost an empty-nester, I expect my scrapbooking will soon be about our sweet fur baby Lucy. :)
I’ve enjoyed this hobby since before my kids were born, and I love how CSI challenges keep me inspired!
Here's how our inspiring Guest Designer solved the Case:
How Cynthia solved the Case: My son is very musical, so the piano image made me think of him, and the pictures I wanted to scrap were pretty earthy - my son in a forest, outside by a riverbed...
So - the case file colors, leaves, and woodgrain totally fit for this page to celebrate my son, who just turned 20 years old.

The CSI design team masterfully cracked the Case. We'll share how they solved the Case on Facebook.

Here's how our Guest Detective solved the Cold Case:
How Cynthia solved the Cold Case: I solved it by scrapping about my mom's 80th birthday...I used the colors, as well as butterflies, hearts, and flowers. The papers are from Crate Paper/Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams - 2016 collection., and the little stick pins in the title are from Fancy Pants 2007 (yay for stash-busting!).
