CSI DETECTIVES

Hello! I'm Anastasia from Moscow, Russia.
I love to travel and that's how I discovered srapbooking. Several years ago when I returned from a trip I wanted to keep my memories and the paper junk I brought home (now I use a fancy word "memorabilia" for all this stuff). I googled something like "travel albums" - and that was it, I was hooked immediately.
I love pretty papers and everything that goes with it. My pages are smaller in size (6x8 or 8x8) and have more or less clean look, though sometimes I like to play with paints. One of the best things about this hobby is that we can make things in any style you want, our only limit is our imagination, right?:)

Hi, I’m Annie Claxton, I live in a little cottage in Norfolk UK with my husband John. I have two grown-up sons and I’m still catching up with scrapping pictures of them from 35 years ago!

My tiny workroom is full to bursting with all kinds of supplies and I love to try lots of different arts and crafts, but when I discovered scrapping back in 2007 I was hooked straight away.

I don’t think I have a particular style really, but I usually add lots of layers and texture, I enjoy making my own embellishments and I love to use recycled elements and found objects.

Challenge sites are such an inspiration and CSI has always been one of my faves, so I feel very excited and honoured to be a CSI Detective again, what a great start to 2018! :o)

My name is Carina and I am from Sweden. I live in a little village outside the town Jönköping, with my hubby, our two dogs and our cat. We also have two grown-up kids aged 24 (son) and 22 (daughter), but they have moved out. I work full-time as a math and science teacher with kids aged 10-12.

I mainly scrap digitally, but I also do a lot in paper. When I paper scrap I do pocket scrapbooking and some layouts. I also love to dabble with mixed media/art journaling and sewing clothes. I've been scrapbooking since 2006 when I was looking for something fun to do with all my photos and found scrapbooking on the Internet.

I've been a creative person as long as I can remember which means I´ve been dipping my toes in all kinds of things - drawing, painting (both watercolor and acrylics), photography, knitting.... I also love to bake and cook!

I am a big fan of Star Wars, Coldplay and Metallica. I also love tea, coffee and chocolate

In my spare time I like to be active. I like to run and go biking on my mountainbike.

I am so looking forward to be creating for CSI!
Hi, CSI Fans! I'm Debbi Tehrani, the owner and founder of CSI. I live in Frederick, Maryland, with Farzad, my husband of 36 years. We have no children, but we have two cats and a bearded dragon. The beardie accompanies me to school, where I teach fourth grade.
I've been scrapping since about 2000. I scrap 8 x 8, which is why you will see only one photo on most of my layouts. I love telling stories on my pages and using elements that will help to tell my stories. For me, scrapbooking is a creative outlet and a way to capture and celebrate all the random little things that make my life special and meaningful. Recently, I've started making pages as gifts for other people, and I just love doing that!
The internet has transformed my hobby from a solitary passion to one that I can share with friends I have made all over the world. I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to create this challenge and to be working alongside so many talented people. I am looking forward to forging new friendships and being inspired by all the members of the CSI community!

Hi! My name is Edith and my pseudo is cloutiere on the Internet. I live in Quebec, Canada, with my husband, our daughter, our cat and our bearded dragon. I have been scrapping since 2009. My style is a mix between Shabby Chic and Mixed Media. I love to try new things! I generally scrap 12x12 layouts and canvases. My principal inspiration is my family of course, but also everything around me. The inspiration is everywhere!! I love to be in my craftroom in my scrapworld and it will be a pleasure to share it with you!

My name is Gerry van der Velden I’m from the Netherlands, I have been creative since I was a child and about 15 years ago scrapbooking caught my eye and I loved it from the start, playing around with pictures, papers and all crafty materials is so super exciting and fun to do. Then mixed media came along and that was a perfect combination with scrapbooking, because you can basically use anything you like and create.

I love joining the CSI design Team, the challenges are so much fun and make you use your stuff which I like, big fan of that

I hope all design team projects will inspire you, let's craft together!

Hello - my name is Ginger Cameron and I have been scrapbooking for 14 years. I am a mother of 4 grown children and 5 beautiful grandchildren,  which they are my main source for my layouts. I am married to my high school sweetheart and now we are both retired.

I studied art for 10 years at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have sold several paintings in an art gallery and was a layout artist for several years. After that I was an account manager for an advertising agency.

I love all kinds of scrapbooking from very simple to very complex. I am currently on the design team at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas. Every day I look forward to scrapbooking even if it is just for a while or several hours. I love to try new techniques, styles, and mixed media. Thank goodness for "Scrapbooking"!

My name is Kimberly (Droopidog) Heard. I’ve been married for 23 yrs and we have no children. Since it’s just the 2 of us we travel as often as we like. We both have just recently retired, so we will be continuing our travels even more now.

Most of my scrappy subjects involve the many adventures of the Mr and I. Boy does he provide me with plenty of fun and funny scrappy photos. Have to love a man who doesn't mind my scrappy addiction. I have started to include a few more stock photos to satisfy my mixed media artistic side.

I started scrapping in 2001, after my mom died. I had all these copies of photos and didn’t know what to do with them. I had a friend that was into scrapbooking so I called her. Once I did my first page, I was hooked.

Like any good scrapper, I am never without my camera and am always looking for an opportunity to take scrap worthy pictures.

Hello, my name is Laura Mooney.  I live, with my husband, in Eugene, Oregon.  We have been married for 26 years and have two children, a son and a daughter.  Our daughter has been married for a year and a half and our son will soon be married as well!  My husband and I love to go hiking and he recently got me back on a bike!  I love to scrap our adventures and, living in such a beautiful part of the world, I have a lot of material.
I started stamping and card making in the early 90s.  I resisted scrapbooking for a few years.  I just didn't like the white background page with shaped photos and stickers.  Then I realized that I could create my own backgrounds and off I went.  I really became serious when I got my first digital camera during my son's Freshman year of high school.  He was very involved with band and I had a ton of stories to scrap!
Since joining CSI, I have moved from an event scrapper to spreading my wings with a more artistic style and I am loving it!  Finding my artsy side has been so much fun!  I am really looking forward to growing along side all of you and telling some great stories.

Hello everyone, I'm Libeeti Frenkel from Israel. I'm a single mom of two teenager boys, a working woman in a full time job, and an addicted crafter.

I love making scrapbook layouts, mini (or not so mini) albums, altered art, DIY projects, etc.

CSI has been a long time love of mine. I love the TON of inspiration on this site - the case files as well as the awesome layouts by the talented Detectives.

CSI always challenge me and stretch my creativity, and I'm thrilled to re-join the team.

Hello! My name is Lisa Moen. My husband Greg and I have 2 children- Sierra, 20 and Austin, 19. Both are attending college in the fall, so I will have lots of free time on my hands. We live in central Wisconsin. I work as the Food Service Director at the school here. I enjoy most of the summer off! Besides scrapping, I enjoy camping, gardening and reading.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here at CSI!

Lisa-Marie Watling

A good friend introduced me to scrapbooking in 2007 and I was hooked within minutes.  I have, literally, thousands of digital photographs, so this was a great way for me to not only document my life and memories - but also have a passion for doing so.

I like to think that my scrapbooking has evolved in leaps and bounds since those first few LO's I have made, and I know that I will continue to grow as a scrapper.  There is always so much to learn and so many new exciting products and techniques!  I'm absolutely thrilled to be on the CSI team - since submitting my first LO in the challenge over 2 years ago, it has been my dream to be on this team!

My online scrapbook name is Louise Turner and I'm an avid Scrapbooker and papercrafter! I'm married to a wonderful hubby with twin boys and work full time in allied health care.

I describe my scrapbooking style as eclectic. My layouts range from simple paper and layering to detailed mixed media. My preferred style I like to call PPM Paper + Medium I love paper collections followed by art mediums and embellishments, like wood veneer, flair buttons and thickers. My favourite thing to do is to share process videos as I have picked up so many techniques from watching other's videos, I hope you can pick up something from mine.

Hello from France ! I’m Magali Do Souto, alias Mag&Scrap. I’m 39 years old, i’m married and have three children of 10, 12 and 14, and we live in Orleans.

I discovered scrapbooking in 2007 after the birth of my latest boy. I was glad to find a hobby, something to do not for my work, not for my family, but for me, which can match with my love of photography.

Then, I noticed that scrapbooking was also a way to keep wonderful memories of our family in a great way.

Thanks to the Internet which opened my arty world to so many fantastic artists and so many technics, inspiration and ways for practicing scrapbooking.

CSI is a great way to wake up my mojo, and it’s very exciting for me to join the team !

My name Denyse Bédard nickname Marek Marek and I prefer lol! I am 47 and I am with my love for 15 years. I have no children, but I am surrounded by children. Those of my sisters and my friends! I have a very large cat who weighs 35 pounds and is called (Ti-mine). I've been scrapbooking for many years, but since I have problems on occasion with my heart, I do a lot more because it's the only thing I can do sometimes.
I also did a lot of paint on canvas, but over time I abandoned that to devote myself to my passion, scrapbooking.

Hello everybody, I'm so excited to be part of this DT. My name is Marinella and I live in Matera a little town in South Italy. I'm married, I'm a mom of a six years old girl, and I'm an engineer.

I scrapbook since 2009. I like realize layouts, and my projects are always full of bright colors and little details. The scrapbooking stuff I prefer are pattern papers and embellishments, and I like to play with colors on my backgrounds.

Scrapbooking for me is more than a hobby, because it's a great way to tell our stories and create something using our emotions and feelings. I love the photos and the memory keeping, I hope you enjoy my layouts.

Hi, I'm Michelle and I hail from the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. I live in Christchurch, which was a very English city until we had an earthquake in 2011 (and around 20,000 of them since then!) and is now being rebuilt better than ever, although very slowly.

I started Scrapbooking just after I had my second daughter back in 2001. Her and her sister have grown up with cameras in their faces, and were usually happy to oblige but now sometimes I have to resort to bribery to get photos...

I've had a love of art and craft since I was young, I can even remember having a scrapbook in the seventies :-D When I left school, it manifested as knitting, then ceramics, which I taught, and now that I get to throw paint and inks at my layouts I couldn't be happier. I love this hobby! Especially combining inks with cut files.

You can see more of my work at

Hi everyone! I'm Natsuko from Japan. I have been scrapping for more than 8 years now, and I'm still deeply in love. Making layouts not only makes me happy but it's also a stress reliever. My daughter is the main model in most of my layouts, and I want to keep the moments (special or not!) so she can remember them after she grows up.

I love looking at other people's layouts too, imagining what kind of story is hidden there. Colorful is my style, and I love adding some mixed media on my background. I don't want to limit myself though, so I'm not hesitant to try new techniques, and I'm always looking for new inspiration.

I also love travelling, taking pictures and meeting people from all over the world. It's such an honor to be on this team, with all the other super-talented Detectives!!

Hi! I´m Nina!
I´m married to John and mother of two teenagers whom you may already know;-)
Ten years ago I had to give up teaching due to being diagnosed with Lupus. That led to seven years at home, giving me the opportunity to spend all my energy on my children. Three years ago I went back to work, but now part time as a secretary in a law firm. The rest of the day I drive my family to different activities like ballet classes, flute lessons, handball practice, school band practice, saxophone lessons, concerts, games, competitions... So how do I get time to scrap?! Well, I have a husband that loves to cook, and he is responsible for dinner every day. That means I have an hour or so to relax in my scrap room while he enjoys cooking:-)
In the beginning I only scrapped cards. There was always a need for a birthday card, and I loved to make them special and personal. Just imagine. Both my children had between 20 and 30 pupils in their classes, and as a school rule you invited all of them, or just the boys or the girls. That's a lot of cards to make! Now I create most layouts inspired by CSI case files and the gorgeous work from the design team in the reveal.
I am not sure if I have a particular style, although my friends say they could easily recognize my work. I would like to try new techniques, and I want to learn more about mixed media. I sometimes try to make exciting backgrounds with paint and paste and stencils, but have not been successful so far. It turns out to be more messed media than mixed media:-)
Thank you for having me on the team. I am so excited to get started, and hope that I can encourage new members to keep playing in CSI. The friendly comments I got on my layouts made all the difference for me as a beginner.

Hi, my name is Patty Rogers and I live in Texas, United States of America. I have been scrapbooking since I was a little girl, but officially, I have been scrapbooking for the past 25 or so years. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a major in Education and a minor in Art, and taught grades kindergarten through fourth for twenty five years. Now that I am retired from teaching, I feel blessed to be using my time creating layouts that I hope will be cherished across generations in our family. Most of my work is about our two children who are now grown.

I’m Raechelle (pronounced Rachel) Bellus and I am so excited to be a member of the CSI ream! I’ve been fan for ages and am looking forward to playing along with the awesome challenges and {hopefully} inspiring you to join in, too.

I’m a wife, mother, grandmother, and proud military mom who has been scrapping for about 15 years. We have a large family (who are spread across the county and elsewhere) as well as a dog and a cat.

I enjoy reading, working puzzles, spending time outdoors with my family as well as cooking and baking.

I live in the north of New Zealand, with my husband of 40+ years, on a small, very pretty lifestyle block. I have been a scrapping addict for about 14 years :).

My passion for scrapbooking, firstly, stems from the love and joy I get from my children and grandchildren and the need for them to have printed photos! And secondly, I just love creating, trying different techniques and styles, using all the wonderful products available and being a part of the creative, inspiring, scrapbooking community.

My main subjects are my five beautiful grandchildren. Thanks to iPhones I never have a shortage of photos and get them sent to me daily from snap happy parents! I love to try different scrapping styles, but I nearly always start with the photo as my focus and then look for supplies and a great challenge. The CSI challenges are perfect because they offer so many choices and interpretations.

I am looking forward to my time as a CSI agent and hope I can inspire you.

I´m Taru and I live in Finland. My home town Rauma is small port town and really summer city! I live with my two sons Sami (-00) and Niko (-02). They are just now teenage boys and we live in an old townhouse. We have 4 adorable cats – they are our sweet babies!
I've been on disability pension for over 10 years now. My first job was with PartyLite, doing consulting work. Then I retired (2004). After that I found crafts and started making cards – with stamping. Then it was the year 2007!
Next I started making scrapbook pages, and it was my big love! How many possibilities you have to make your own art! I love mixed media messy and clean and simple styles– both are so full of potential.
I love to take funny and crazy photos! I love to save memories of my own life. That is the reason why many many pages include photo of me. But I love to take photos also with my boys (my older son doesn´t like be in photo) and cats.

My Name is Tracee and I live in Bristol, UK, with my DH, our 2 youngest children, and our very spoiled doggies.

I have always crafted in one form or another since I was a small child, from stuffed toys to knitted scarves. I was introduced to scrapping in 2004, and I have never looked back, with each layout bringing more love for this hobby, along with a whole group of friends who share the same love.
My family and dogs are the main focus of my work. I just love how you can turn a memory, that might otherwise be forgotten in time, into something very special indeed.
Really I'm quite a sensitive soul with a small amount of crazy thrown in. Right now I am loving my scrappy journey and all the fun friendship and memories it brings everyday. With an ever changing world scrapping remains my Safe Haven and most days you will find me at some point in my craft room.

Hi! I'm Vivian and I live in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. I've been married to my high school sweetheart Richard for 20 years. Together we have 3 beautiful children, ages 18, 17 and 12. I'm a part time school bus driver and also work occasionally at a local bed & breakfast.

I started scrapbooking 10 years ago when my parents were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary and I wanted to make a unique gift for them. I really loved the creative process and I haven't quit since!! I've never been published but that dream is still very much on my bucket list. I have served on one design team before and am looking forward to my time on this team as well! I've been playing along here at CSI since Case File #1. I love the way Debbi challenges us to tell our stories!

When I'm not scrapbooking you can find me in my kitchen cooking up a storm, curled up on my couch reading a book, or in the dojo practicing karate.

I am now officially Mum of 3 teenagers!!!  The boys are 17 and 15 and don’t want any more photos!!! My daughter is so photogenic and has grown up with a camera looking at her. She has just turned 13. Of course my hubby is tolerant of my obsession and he knows it keeps me happy. We live in country NSW Australia in a small town called Young which is where the cherries are grown.
My scrapbooking started 10 years ago and over those years I have had many layouts in magazines here in Australia and once in Creating Keepsakes. Also I have featured in the Scrapbooking Memories Masters magazine for about 5 years, never got to the master level yet!
At my local scrapbooking shop (Joys Paperworks) I am part of the furniture, as I have been teaching classes there in all those years. I have the privilege of teaching sewing lessons to adults and children in the same business.
I have been a stay at home mum and still think it’s important to be there for my family, that stems from my Christian faith.
I find scrapbooking is an ever growing journey for me. I learn so much all the time and keep altering my style. Actually I think that’s what makes it fun too. It is a practical thing for me, not just an artistic outlet; I want to document and keep memories alive.  However it just makes me feel so good when I scrapbook, I am convinced it good for the mind and soul !!
I also think it’s so wonderful to now be able to share this passion with like-minded people on line.
