January 2020 Case Files - First Reveal - Deadline: February 4, 2020

Happy New Year! A new year brings lots of wonderful new happenings, and we've got some new sponsors and new Guest Detectives and more new surprises coming this year. A new revision to our challenge is that you'll have a few extra days beyond the end of the month to complete our challenges; challenges will be due by the 4th of the next month.

And Happy Birthday, CSI! CSI turns 8 today! We've brought you well over 300 challenges over the years, and we are still excited to bring you new inspiration every month in the form of fun new challenges!

For this first reveal, we'll be sharing inspiration from the design team and guest designers for our first Case File. On the 15th, we'll be sharing inspiration from the design team and guest designers for our second Case File as well as our Cold Case File, our special stash-busting challenge.

GUEST DESIGNERS

INSPIRATION 

And now, are you ready for some serious inspiration? Here's what our design team and guest designers created with Case File No. 303. We will share their creations for Case File No. 304 and the Cold Case on the 15th.

Here's how our inspiring Guest Detectives from CUT to YOU cracked the Case:

How Gwen solved the Case: I was really inspired by the sweet birthday cake with the floral elements and the butterflies and saw this as a perfect opportunity to document my daughters 10th Birthday.

How Rachel solved the Case: I was inspired by the image and created a birthday layout featuring my daughter on her 18th.

How Raechelle solved the Case: I was inspired by the flowers, butterflies, and colors.

How Tamara solved the Case: I was inspired by the birthday theme and the bright colours. I have included dots, flowers, hearts, birthday themed items, and I’m documenting my daughters 10th birthday.

The CSI design team masterfully cracked the Case. We'll share how they solved the Case on Facebook.
