August Scrapbooking Challenge Case Files - Mid-Month Reveal | Deadline: September 4, 2024

Happy August, CSI Investigators! We're excited to bring you a new month of fun and inspiring scrapbooking challenges and lots of beautiful inspiration from our design team. 

For this first reveal, we'll be sharing inspiration for our first Case File. On the 15th, we'll be sharing inspiration for our second Case File. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

We're delighted to present our newest CSI Detective, Deborah Lazar! We're sure her beautiful work will inspire us all! 

Here's a little about Deborah, in her own words:

My name is Deborah and I live in the southern part of New Jersey, right outside of Philadelphia, with my husband, my teenage daughter and our 5 cats. I also have two adult sons that have already left the nest. 

I have been scrapbooking for over 25 years and love it as much today as when I first started. While I mainly scrap 12x12, I also enjoy putting together mini albums and creative listing in TNs. I also love going to retreats and taking classes to learn new techniques. For me, scrapbooking is not just a hobby but it’s way of life….the photo taking and the memory keeping. 

When I am not creating a new layout, I work full time as a Construction Project Manager building retail pharmacies. I also love traveling, cooking and shopping for new scrapbook supplies! I am so excited to be on the CSI team!

GUEST DETECTIVE SPOTS

We'll be inviting some players whose work catches our eye to serve as Guest Detectives along the way. We'll investigate the albums on the 4th of the month, so if you're interested in serving as a Guest Detective, make sure you have your layout in the album by the 4th. (But feel free to use past Case Files as inspiration any time.)

And you never know, if your work really wows us, you might even be asked to join our talented design team.

CASE FILES 

This month, we're summer vacations with our Case Files. As always, you don't have to scrap these topics. Draw your own inspiration from The Scene on the Case File, or you can use the traditional clues, which can be found at the bottom of this blog post.
