June Case Files {Mid-month Reveal} - Deadline: June 30, 2019

We're midway through the month, and we're excited to bring you some inspiration for our second June Case File and our Cold Case File.

Don't forget you have all month to participate in all three of our challenges. You can see inspiration for our first June Case File here.

NEW DESIGN TEAM MEMBER!

We're excited to announce that Jennifer Cain is joining the CSI design team! Jennifer's work caught our eye, and we knew she'd be a perfect fit for our team.

Here's a bit about Jennifer, in her words:

Hi, my name is Jennifer Cain aka ScrappinCain in the scrapbooking world. A little bit about me. I was born and raised in Colorado currently my home state. I started scrapbooking about 20 years ago with the birth of my first son. I am a single parent of two boys. I have always loved photography and found a website called Two Peas in a Bucket. I enjoyed what I saw. I started looking at layouts and reading magazines and fell in love with the hobby. Over the years I have taken a few breaks here and there. But my love of photography always brings me back to it.

Currently my new love would have to be cutfiles and getting my youngest son's albums completed while he is young and completing my older sons albums. My stash keeps growing but so do my albums.

My layouts are double 8 1/2x11 or 8 1/2x11 portrait and landscape design. I like the smaller album size and not so square format.

Here's how Jennifer solved our first June Case File:

SPONSORS

This month, we have six generous sponsors donating prizes. Click here to read more about our sponsors and the prizes they are donating. Winners will be selected randomly from all of our players, with a few exceptions where sponsors have asked us to choose from certain geographic regions.

CASE FILES

We're celebrating the beginning of summer with our June Case Files. Draw your own inspiration from The Scene or you can use the traditional clues, which can be found at the bottom of this blog post.

This beautiful summery home scene was found at Better Homes & Gardens.

This delightful tropical Scene, by Dutch illustrator Marijke Buurlage, just screams "Summer!"

And our stash-busting Cold Case features a whimsical Scene by Georgia Dunn Studio.

The traditional CSI clues can be found on our Facebook page in the first entry under the album. Just click on the Case File images above. They are also posted at the bottom of this reveal.

To submit your layouts, click on the Case Files above, which will bring you to the individual albums in our Facebook group.

Some Guest Detectives from the 2Crafty Design team also solved the June Cold Case.

I have used the following 2Crafty Chipboard pieces: Sybill's Name Plates, Grid Panel & Mini Word Set 2.

How Marie solved the Case: When I first saw the June images, I was obviously drawn to case 287, as it has a nautical theme... I love that theme! But surprisingly, in the end, my layout has nothing to do with that theme! Instead, I chose to use several clues to solve the case: a stack of old papers that have distressed edges, a circular frame that is mimicking a window, a coat of white gesso, old mists and even lace trims.

And the CSI Detectives also cracked the Cold Case:
